Some fish you can keep, it all depends on the current regulations. Capt Jim will let you know what you can keep for dinner & what is catch & release. After the charter capt Jim will clean the fish you kept for you to take home or take to the restaurant for a awesome dinner. Ask Jim about having it cooked family style at the skull creek boathouse restaurant after your charter. If you caught a trophy fish that you want mounted, he can make arrangements for that as well.
Does Stray Cat have a mate?
During busy season we normally have a mate on board to assist with your fishing adventure.
How should we pay you?
You pay at the end of your charter. We accept cash, check, and credit cards.
Should we tip the crew of the Stray Cat?
If the crew has worked hard to make your trip enjoyable 15-20% of the charter fee is customary. Also many hours are spent the night before & the morning of your trip by the captain & mate making sure tackle, gear, & the boat are ready and planning your adventure. In general the mate is only paid based on the tip.
Do you offer Gift certificates?
Gift certificates are available. These are a great idea for birthdays, fathers day, Christmas, anniversaries... Call capt Jim or email him to purchase the certificate. He can mail it to you or scan a copy and email it to you. Not only is it a great gift for that special angler in your life, you can also purchase a certificate for a dolphin cruise just for family fun on the water.
